I get Realm Beyond vibes here, except it's worse because they have never released any serious game before. Four guys are working on a complex ruleset, probably more complex than D&D 3.5, to script completely. If we're lucky and they are serious, we might get it in 10-15 years, unless it has a very small scope like Skald.Right now, contributing to those kinds of Kickstarters is more akin to charity
The Dragon's Demand is a 64 page module for levels 1-7. It's absolutely do-able. Troika did ToEE in 19 months and fewer than 20 people and that was a 128 page module for levels 1-10.

And it was an oldschool module. Which means, lots of content per page. A modern "adventure" with 60 pages is like some railroad bullsh*t with a handful of encounters.

Stunning in how off-putting it looks.
I initially got excited because when I read "digital tabletop and minis" I thought it was gonna resemble real miniatures, not characters clearly 3D modelled and textured in the average style for a game these days. Granted it can only be seen in the tiny promo pic so far, maybe not representative of the end result.
I would like a game that had that "handcrafted" feel to it (Credit to Pierre-Antoine on sketchfab, took his scanned 3d minis as an example)

The dude rated my comment with "yes". Probably he really knows something. Or not.
Actually, as someone from Moscow, if old enough, he probably played a lot of ridiculously poorly optimized eurojunk.
Which makes his statements about good old days even more amusing.

Sure, that's why "coders" nowadays don't know math/graph theory/basic algorithms, that's why we need 3080 RTX or better for 30+ fps.
Not sure what you're getting at in this case. The only info we have so far is that one Kickstarter screencap, which suggests a highly stylised, "low-tech" approach to development, probably relying on a lot of out-of-the-box engine functionality. If that's the case and the project doesn't pose a lot of programming challenges, what's left is gameplay design and the past NWN and NWN2 expertise, if it's still there, is certainly relevant.

I’m excited about this one. I need to see how the grey circles beneath the models look in-game and how they mesh with the whole aesthetic of the game before I decide if I hate it or not. So far it doesn’t look like a dealbreaker.
Why are some guys sh*tting on Pathfinder 2E tho? Isn’t it supposed to be really close to D&D 3.5 which everybody here loves?

That was Pathfinder 1. 2E was their failed attempt to take on 5e.

Neverwinter Nights 1/2 did satisfy my build autism for quite awhile, I can't lie. Using warriors with high intelligence, dex, and wisdom for sky-high Armor classes, using the druids elemental form to achieve the same result, sup-optimal but interesting parrying builds, scythe weapon masters with lots of sneak attack dice who can put out insane damage numbers on those not immune...
I hate the overly bright, semi-cartoony artsyle you see in so many indie games.

That banner...
- Colorful, stylized, mobile trash tier graphics. Best suited for simple, cheap games for children.
- Out of 4 characters shown (our party?) 2 are black females & 2 are comedy relief shorties.
Meh. The level of current excitement: 0.
Doesn't look like I'm the target audience for this.

Tbh if they went with token/miniatures route akin to Pierre's work, that could end up pretty good.

This is just the Pathfinder art style. You have to use it if you're making a Pathfinder game.

Orcs aren't black. I assume you'll be making your own party so you can have 0 black characters. They have to demonstrate them to show compliance.

If it's a pathfinder game, no one can be surprised and be bothered if it's inclusive TM. This is the whole motto of paizo since day one.

Think Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous did a good job threading that line graphically at least compared to what Ossian always seems to come up with.

"Always?" The only graphics Ossian have "come up with" so far are in The Shadow Sun, a mobile title, their other work was expansions for NWN and NWN2. You sure you ain't thinking of some other studio?

If it's on the same level as Solasta if it comes to rules, customization and combat but with engaging story, it's good enough indie project for me.

That would be most games/RPGs now, yes.
