Quand les clubs de football misent sur la sensibilité prix des consommateurs.Après le Fortuna Düsseldorf (en Allemagne), c’est au tour du club historique de la plus grosse ville de l’hexagone de proposer une billetterie gratuite. Ces deux clubs souffrant d’une forte concurrence locale et ne peuvant rivaliser avec des arguments sportifs classiques, ils ont choisi une approche totalement disruptive.Cette stratégie audacieuse mise sur une hausse de la consommation (boissons, snacks, merchandising) des spectateurs pour assurer la rentabilité des jours de matchs. Le parallèle avec les compagnies aériennes low-cost, qui proposent des billets d’avion quasi gratuits, financés par les services annexes (bagages, sièges, etc.) est clair.La billetterie ne représente «que» 7-8% des revenus d’un club de L2. Le risque financier direct n’est donc probablement pas très élevé par rapport aux gains potentiels en termes de notoriété et d’attractivité, pour les sponsors et les joueurs qui pourraient voir leurs audiences multipliées en quelques semaines.Un stade n’étant beau que quand il est plein, on ne peut que souhaiter bonne chance à ces deux clubs. https://lnkd.in/eBMswapT

This insight is great illustration of our daily “quest” at PricingHUB. Data without context should not be used to take decisions:- What’s the traffic evolution on the same period?- What’s the YoY evolution?- What’s the marketing investment per country?- What are the competitors doing at the same time?- Etc.The answers to those questions can completely change the interpretation of the initial dataset. Context is key, period.
