Maryland men’s lacrosse released its 2024 schedule Thursday, which sees the Terps face off against 11 of their 12 opponents from last season. Seven of their opponents made the NCAA Tournament last year, with three making the Final Four
The Terps will begin the season on Feb. 3 at Richmond, then return home a week later for their home opener against Loyola (Md.).
Maryland will head back on the road on Feb. 17 to take on Syracuse before facing off against Princeton back in College Park on the 24th.
On Sunday, March 3, the Terps will travel to South Bend, Indiana in a heavyweight matchup against the reigning national champion, Notre Dame.
The Terps will close out nonconference play with home games against Brown (March 9) and Virginia (March 16).
Maryland will begin its Big Ten slate with away games against Michigan (March 23) and Penn State (March 31). The Terps fell to Michigan twice last season — including in the Big Ten championship game.
The Terps’ home conference opener is set for April 6 against Ohio State, and they will host Rutgers the following weekend.
The Terps will end their regular season looking for revenge when they travel to take on long-standing rival Johns Hopkins (April 20).
