Dirty Show nod....... Wow... A good friend of mine just sent me a link to this writeup on the show... I am so proud to be mentioned along with the likes of my idols.... Juxtapoz Magazine Drop your socks and grab your smocks, it's time once again for The Dirty Show®! Now in it's 9th year, the Dirty Show has become one of the most recognized erotic art exhibitions on the planet. Despite the popularity and huge crowds, the Dirty Show® remains deeply entrenched in the underground. Favoring over the top artists and cutting edge art, the show is a cocktail of erotic stars and up and comers (often in your face). This year in addition to the usual low brow suspects, you'll see original Bettie Page photos by Bunny Yeager, the futuristic pin-ups of H.R.Giger and Hajime Soroyama, shuttershock by Justice Howard, Lochai, BT Charles and Eric Kroll (Who will be holding court with a seminar) along with "something way over 250 amazing artists getting dirty." I couldn't make it to the show due to time constraints... |

Hello all, I normally don't tout other people's Yahoo Groups, even if I am a member of them but... Dutch Paul is one of the few I have to say I am very proud to me a member of. Paul, the owner, features artists & posts images that he loves from them to share with over 3000 members. The difference between this group and others that do the same is that Paul receives permission from the artists before posting anything. This means a lot to me. Well he & I have been discussing some of my images for a while & I have just been featured on his group. I am proud to announce that "Curves" was just given a Daily Deviation award on DeviantArt.com  I have been a member of the site for a couple of years & have met some amazing models & photographers thru this venue.
Last year my work was chosen along with 12 other South Florida based DA photographers to have their art shown during the Thomas Dolby concert when he was here. DA sponsored the tour & had DA artists work flashed on screens throughout the warm-up break & take-down of the show. So, if you are interested in seeing millions of beginner thru professional photographers work, check them out. The site is not only dedicated to photography, it has every genre of art there is from writing thru sculptors.  Vintage anyone? What a seductive pin-up in action! Here's what our suggester told me about this photo, Curves..... by *Lochai, "I think this photo deserves to be featured because it has its own unique vibe. It's quirky, grainy, blown out and gorgeous! The model looks wonderful and her pose and expression add to the clandestine feel of the photo. It's simultaneously classy, retro and down to earth.
